We are recruiting members to join a newly formed committee, Professional Development Committee (PDC), and we would love you to consider being a part of it.

Our Committee Focus
This new subcommittee will be dedicated to advancing the growth and enrichment of our membership through the following activities:

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring professional development programs that are responsive to member interests and aligned with the principles of professionalism in health care
• Creating meaningful opportunities for learning that reflect the core values of our Academy
• Fostering mentoring relationships and collaboration among like-minded members who are passionate about advancing professionalism across disciplines and institutions
• Supporting scholarship projects that contribute to the evidence base and innovative practices in professionalism

This is a unique opportunity to help shape programming that directly impacts our members while building lasting collegial relationships with fellow APHC members who share your commitment to professionalism.

What Is the Time Commitment?
We have designed this subcommittee with respect for your busy schedules. Participation involves:

• One meeting every other month (virtual)
• Enjoying and engaging with other APHC educational programs and offerings as part of your ongoing professional development

We believe this manageable commitment allows for meaningful contribution without creating an undue burden on your time.
